Fall temperatures can range from the low 70s during daylight hours to freezing at nighttime. Snow is possible. Autumn foliage often peaks during the first few weeks of October, although the amount of moisture during the summer months can affect foliage timing.
Winter conditions change rapidly, and snow is frequent, due to Acadia's coastal location. Temperatures
vary from the mid-30s to well below zero, and Acadia averages about 60" of snow each winter.
